Standard hours: Open 10am-3pm; Extended care hours: Open 830am-5pm

To provide some relief for busy parents and fun for active children during those long school holidays, we've designed, organise and run our popular OFSTED Registered   Planet Active Holiday Camps.

Ideal for children in Year 1 - Year 9 (aged 5 to 14 years), our active courses enable children to enjoy a wide variety of energetic holiday activities and sports in a safe and supportive environment. These range from traditional favourites like football, tennis and cricket to new additions such as dodgeball, tag-rugby, ‘capture the flag’  and Sports Leader Courses. 

Planet Education offers school holiday childcare at the incredible Sir David English Leisure Centre. 

At this venue, Planet Education has access to a range of excellent facilities and purpose-designed rooms, ensuring all children have a safe and inspiring learning environment. The large astro turf pitch is ideal for all age groups to practice ball sports. An outside field area provides a fun space to engage in active games and play along with the spacious hall allowing for indoor team games.

How to find us:We have onsite parking for parents, please use the main car park for the leisure centre and make you way around the side of the build to the netball courts. At the the enterance you will see a member of our team waiting at the door where they will sign you in.

Special Notes:

We kindly ask parents to not pack nuts into their child's lunch due to allergies. In an effort to keep our camps as Covid secure as possible, we encourage parents and carers to wear face masks when arriving on camp.

What you need to know:

- Booking details: Please review your booking one final time to double check your dates, child details and contact numbers are correct.

- Late bookings: If you have booked within a week before camp starts, please take your email confirmation along with you (either printed out or on a smart phone/tablet), to help speed up check in and registration.

- Packed lunch: Please send your child with a healthy packed lunch and 2 snacks
